Luncheon Club

MHAThe Luncheon Club is part of Macclesfield Live at Home scheme, a national initiative, launched in the late 1980s, by Methodist Homes for the Aged, a national charity recognised for its quality of care for Older People whatever their personal beliefs, ethnic origins or financial circumstances. The Live at Home Scheme aims to help people maintain their independence by addressing the isolation that can happen as people grow older. The scheme runs luncheon clubs, a telephone link and a befriending service.

Luncheon clubs take place at Broken Cross Methodist Church, Macclesfield Methodist Church and Bethel Baptist Church in Macclesfield.

If you feel you could be a volunteer or would like to attend a luncheon club or have a visitor please contact Christine or Margaret Tel 01625 612410.  e-mail macclesfield.liveathome@mha.org.uk
